About Us

In search of the perfect small homestead animal that would provide abundance and versatility, we first explored the idea of  Goats with the intention of providing enough milk and cheese for our  personal, homestead consumption, while living remote in Interior Idaho, where good food sources were scant. We stumbled across Guernsey's and were intrigued by their History, medium size and long hair, which was important to us, to protect them from the cold, as it was high elevation and long hard Winters. We would soon learn they also had great personalities and produced incredible quality milk. We started with 2 Doe's, then got a buck. Ten years later we have close to 40. It's been an amazing journey of learning, that we continue with Love every day.
